THE STORY
More than a trip.
Before 2020, going home to Nigeria was a regular part of my life. Summers, Christmases, family, food and familiar places.
Then COVID happened, and what I thought would be a temporary pause became years away. In that time, I finished university, became a U.S. Army officer, built my career, started businesses and kept working toward the life I wanted.
Somewhere between all the working, building and becoming, six years passed.
For context: I was 17 the last time I was in Nigeria. When I return this December, I’ll be 24. I left as a teenager. I’m returning as a young woman.
Going Home: Nigeria follows my return through Lagos and Abuja as I reconnect with family, culture, food and familiar places, while experiencing home again through completely different eyes.
For select partners, it’s an opportunity to become part of a real homecoming through the products, places and experiences that naturally become part of the journey.
Six years away. One long-awaited journey home. ♥️
